Airlines Slash UK-Spain Autumn Fares to Just £14.99

by admin477351

In a bid to attract travelers during the less busy autumn and winter seasons, airlines are slashing fares on routes between the UK and Spain. Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air, Vueling, Iberia, Iberia Express, and Air Europa have all rolled out promotional prices, with some one-way tickets available from just £14.99 or €16.

Ryanair is advertising flights in September and October starting at £14.99 on several routes, including London to Castellon, Barcelona, and Valencia. For those looking to travel in November and December, prices begin at approximately £19.99. Meanwhile, easyJet has launched a sale featuring over 780,000 seats with discounts of up to 20% on selected routes. Travelers can find fares from £18.99, such as Gatwick to Alicante, Bristol to Malaga, and Luton to Barcelona, while some October flights to Palma start at £15.99.

Wizz Air is enhancing its offerings in Spain by opening new bases in Valencia and Madrid come November, thereby increasing its competition with Ryanair. Not to be left out, Spanish airlines are also joining the price competition. Vueling has announced discounts of up to 20% on 110,000 seats, with international fares beginning at €16. Iberia offers domestic flights starting from €24 and selected European destinations from €29. Air Europa’s anniversary promotion features fares starting at €25.

These discounted rates aim to stimulate demand following the bustling summer travel period. It’s worth noting, however, that these low prices typically cover only a small under-seat bag, with additional costs for seat selection, cabin luggage, and checked bags.

For those planning to travel, experts suggest looking at flexible midweek dates, particularly in the months of October, November, and January, when fares tend to be more affordable compared to peak holiday seasons.
